Beautiful New Hampshire

We are currently in Rindge, New Hampshire at Franklin Pierce College. It is just a beautiful campus. There is a large lake on campus with a nice cool breeze and the weather is simply refreshing. Just a great start to another week of camp. This is only the second year that Worldview is in New Hampshire yet we have over 120 students here this week, of which half are alumni students. This is going to be a fantastic week!!
This weekend was also quite a refreshing weekend for most of our staff as on Friday evening we went into New York City and saw the broadway show Phantom of the Opera. For many this was something they had wanted to do their whole lives, so it was awesome to be a part of that.
It is hard to believe, as it seems we say every week, that this summer has only three full weeks left. We have shared a lot about the impact that this summer has had on many of the students we have worked with, but we wanted to share briefly, something that God has really been showing the staff.
This morning, before we got camp set up, we took time to reflect on these past six weeks and how God has worked through us. A common theme throughout most everyone's reflection was the idea of God revealing to them that it is not about them but about Him. It is not about how much knowledge we can pass on. It is not about how perfectly we can execute our small groups or camp in general. It is not about having all of the answers, but it is about God working in them and shaping them to be more like their creator and redeemer, Jesus Christ.
Many attitudes have been changed from one of pressure to get things exactly right, to an attitude of peace and joy with the knowledge that Christ will use the broken vessels that we are to make an impact for His name and His fame. That is so encouraging each time we take time to reflect on that. God, the all powerful and all knowing being that He is, chooses to use us, mere sinners, to reflect His goodness and His fame. Not only that, but He uses us to shepherd others. The staff have been so encouraged as God continues to mold them and shape them as He shaves off more of them, so that more of Him in His infinte wisdom can shine through to these students. It is such a privelage to be a part of this team that God has put together to reach these students. We are so grateful that God has called you to be a part of this team as well!!! It is all for Christ and His kingdom!!!

Please pray that above all else, that God would sharpen these students this week. That He would mold them in His image as they prepare for battle; the battle to make an impact back home for Jesus Christ.

Thank you for all of your prayers and support.

I just had to let you both know that I have finally gotten a chance to read your blogs. I have enjoyed hearing your journey as well as the students that you are committed to serving. You two are definately called to be where you are. There are many that are thankful that you listened to the calling of the Lord to invest in the lives of others. I love you both and you are constantly in Will and I's prayers. Nenny
