Camp Begins!!!

Our first camp of the summer started yesterday afternoon. The staff were very excited but nervous as well. We just finished a week of staff training at Baylor University in Waco, Texas where we walked through camp and how to be the most effective small group leader that they can be. We have 13o students at this camp at Central Missouri State University. The students are incredibly excited to be here and are asking great questions as the faculty presents the different lectures. Angela is getting to know her girls. She has a group of ten girls and is excited to see how the Lord is going to impact them in this week of camp. Michael is working with the male staff as they are seeking excellence in serving their students. He is also working hard behind the scenes as many of the staff are getting accustomed to doing camp. Tonight we have three more lectures for the students as well as time with their small groups. It is exciting to finally be at camp. We have been talking about it and praying about it, but it is finally here. Please pray for our witnessing time on Wednesday and that God will move in the student's lives. Most of these students are Christian and really excited to be here. Our staff needs wisdom as they continue to lead these men and women to Christ.
