Prayer

"2008 camp season starts now"! This was the statement by Randy Sims, the executive director of Worldview Academy in our weekly Monday meeting after Fall camp. Quite an overwhelming statement after 2 and a half months on the road and completing our last camp of 2007, but we are ready to start preparing for a new group teens for next year. Our call is to be excellent in all things for the Lord, "Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men" Colossians 3:23. Please pray that we work and prepare with the right heart and with all of our time and abilities. We do not want to be caught in the trap of being satisfied with a competed job and not strive for further excellence. On that note, we are starting to go through the mechanics of our past camps and process how we can show God's grace and truth better through our registration, campus facilities, materials, etc. We are in need of creativity to look beyond what has been done, to what would be better for next year.

Please also lift up our college staff in your prayers as they are now back to school away from WVA across the nation and international. We desire to keep shepherding them and perusing deep relationships with them, but it will look a lot different then this past summer. We also need discernment in selecting out team next year. The process of putting together the 2008 team that will be finalized by the end of March 2008 has already started. Pray the the Lord goes before us and opens schedules and heart in preparation to serve with Worldview Academy.
