It's Wednesday

I feel like every time I post on our blog that I should start with an apology that it has been at least a couple of weeks since we have last posted, but this time... Well, anyway, things are going very well here in sunny west Texas. Though last year we had record amounts of rain, last time I checked we have received less than one inch for the calendar year of 2008. Big change from Oregon.

One of the things that we have been hit with here is sickness. I (Michael) have been sick several times already this year and Angela has been sick a couple of times as well. Maybe we need rain. Probably not, though.

Things are getting busier around the office as the phone is ringing more consistently and the staff applications are flowing in to the office. It is an exciting time as we are beginning to get a glimpse of what the Lord has in store for us this summer. It is very exciting. As exciting as it is, though, we have learned (rather we are learning) not to look ahead, but rather to live in the moment and the day. It is exciting how God is using us daily here through the building of strong relationships with friends and also ways that we are being used at our church, Stonegate Fellowship. It will be hard to leave this wonderful community again this summer.

Thanks so much for your prayers and your financial support. It is always humbling for us to know how many people are praying for us and giving towards the ministry to which God has called us. Please pray for discernment with our staff selection process as well as discernment for our housing situation. That is another post or another topic. We know the Lord has it all in His hands and is using all these things to work together for His ultimate good and glory!

Praise our Lord & Savior!

Thanks for all you do.
