This came not as new news, but such a sweet reminder. "God is sufficient." Sufficient literally means enough. God is enough... For those that have grown up in the church have heard this preached from the pulpit hundreds of times for sure, but think about it... God is sufficient. Some of the words and phrases that pop into my head when I sit and dwell on this are: lacking in nothing, enough, all in all, worthy, etc... God is enough. He doesn't need us to do His work just as He doesn't need us to praise Him and worship Him. God doesn't need anything, in and of Himself He is enough.
Though this is not new news, this is such an encouragement as I begin to dwell upon this truth of the Lord. He doesn't need us to serve Him at Worldview Academy and in our daily lives, but instead He chooses to use us. It is such a privelage to work for Creator of all. It is a privelage to come to work each day and talk with parents. It is a privelage to come to work each day and pray for our staff and pray for the students who have already signed up for camp. It is a privelage to carry the name Christ-follower. It sets us free... No longer do we have to carry the burden but we can totally give our burden up to Christ our Lord who's yoke is light... God doesn't need any of us but He allows us to make an eternal difference in someone's life by encouraging them and teaching them in the Lord. Thank you for your continued prayers and support as we serve the Lord here in Midland, Texas and beyond. May the Lord continue to be glorified by the work that we all do as we seek to honor Him above all else in our lives.
