Is Midland a desert?

Angela's parents, Tim and Connie, visited Texas for the first time and Midland rolled out the soggy red carpet. We were so excited to show the glamorous side of Midland with the nice weather and fun people. They did get to experiance the great people, but as for the weather... they felt right at home with Oregon rain. It rained, stormed and flooded; the streets were rivers and the sky was black. But we did have a very good time in fellowship with each other. We played a lot of card games, and they got a visual of what we do in Midland. You all are welcome at our home if you wish to visit!
