Tis the season for catching up! We are back in very warm but beautiful Midland, TX and loving it. It has been great catching up with friends and our church after being away for almost two and a half months. Work at the Worldview office is busy as well, a lot of things accumulate over the summer. Mike has been entering financial data, continuing staff and faculty communication, and sorting through the summer gear. Conferences are in full swing, communication with churches and venues continued throughout the summer and our conference calender is getting very full. Our camp season produced a lot of interest in the Christianity and Culture Conferences, Angela sent out over 150 information packets to churches who showed interest. Angela is also working on a new marketing plan with the conferences and Worldview is excited about the new developments in motion.
We wanted to update you on our housing situation. The Lord provided a temporary home when we returned to Midland, which we are very grateful for. The first Saturday in Midland we had the opportunity to look into the housing market and talk through what we would be looking for; a house in a good neighborhood that we could fix up and work value into. Right now we are in step one of "destination house", expanding our support team on top of raising money for a down payment. If you want to be a part of this development please just let us know.
Thank you for praying for us this summer, it was an awesome two months! We value your friendships and support in what the Lord has been doing all over the Nation. We are excited about what is to come in Midland; Teen CBS, a teen apologetics course, Community group Bible studies, and whatever else the Lord puts together! We will keep you posted!
Mike and Angela Tiland
