Well, we are here in Warrensburg, Missouri at our first camp. It is so good to be at camp. The students this week are extremely excited to be here. The weather however, has been an issue. Every year when we come to Missouri, we get a little bit of weather that we have to deal with, but this year has been ridiculous. We have had a tornado watch each of the first three days here and it is honestly getting a little bit old.
This afternoon we are going out witnessing on campus here at University of Central Missouri and we are praying that the weather holds out for us. There are a lot of people who are on campus today as it is an orientation day for campus, so hopefully our students will get into some great conversations. Please pray that the Lord would fill their mouth's with His words.
Witnessing is always kind of the time of camp where the rubber meets the road. It is the time where the students see that these different worldviews are not just ideas that are on a piece of paper, but that there are real people behind those ideas. Faces, emotions, and thoughts. They get to experience that the gospel must be communicated with truth and grace, not a puffed up head full of truth.
